Under the direction of the Controller, the Assistant Controller is responsible for the development and implementation of accounting policies, systems, and procedures which satisfy all financial reporting requirements and safeguard the institution’s assets.  The Assistant Controller manages the operations of the University’s accounting office, assists in the management of cash flows, and ensures the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process.  The Assistant Controller must develop and enhance reporting capabilities to meet internal and external requirements, for both normal schedules and special projects, and coordinate system and management relationships with departments interacting with accounting operations.
